Studio
I have a large professional studio in the Pearl District that I share with another photographer. There I can control the lighting, climate (music) and it's dog-friendly. It is located at 1801 NW Upshur in NW Portland. From Burnside, turn east (right) on 18th and go almost all the way to the end. It's the large warehouse behind the old Norm Thompson outlet store. We are located on the 7th floor - enter at the lobby, take the elevator (or stairs if you love punishment) to the 7th floor - turn right out of the elevator and the studio is suite 710 on the left. It says Ness Pace on the door - someday (although it's been almost four years), I may put my name on the door too.
On Location
Seniors often choose to have their photos taken in their home, the park, the railroad tracks (?), or their sports venue. If you've got an idea - I'm game.
For weddings, sometimes the bride would like a session in the studio before or after (after the honeymoon!) in her wedding dress. This is more of a portrait session where we can control all the elements - especially the bride's nerves.
